RIP: Rosa Parks

(CNN) -- Rosa Parks, who helped trigger the civil rights movement in the 1950s, died Monday, her longtime friends told CNN. She was 92.

Parks inspired the civil rights movement when she refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man in Montgomery, Alabama in December 1955.

Her arrest triggered a 381-day boycott of the bus system by blacks and led to court rulings desegregating public transportation nationwide.

Hurricane Wilma, a dangerous Category 5 storm

So overnight Wilma turned from a disorganized tropical storm to the strongest hurricane EVER in the Atlantic. Florida's in trouble. They better get a plan together and #1 on the list had better be "rebuild Disneyworld."

Is anyone else concerned about all these weather issues that have been happening around the globe the past couple years? It seems like every couple days there's some sort of catastrophic event whether it's hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, you name it. What the heck is going on here? And no, I don't want any of you hippies commenting saying that it's Bush's fault. :)

Finally...

Finally the Pack pulled out a victory this year...in spectacular fashion no less. I was in attendance again with my Dad and sisters. It was nice to see the Pack earn a win by dominating in all aspects with #4 tossing another 3 touchdowns giving him 12 on the year already. Maybe the washed up talk will stop soon. Anyway, hopefully this win will be the start of something. I wouldn't think so normally but given the horrible division that is the NFC North, anything is possible since they've only played one division game so far. Go Pack!
