I just started reading "Sahara" by Clive Cussler. This is the first book of his that I am reading. According to Kirsten, guys like his work (action, adventure type ). We'll see. I'm looking forward to it since the last three books I read were all written by the same author, Robert Ludlum (the Jason Bourne books). They were great but I'm ready for something new.

My grandpa loves Clive Cussler books, and he's a guy. Kirsten is right! Is that Sahara the one that they recently made a movie out of?
Now that it's summer, I feel like reading a lot too. Years of school-age conditioning still at work.
Yep, it was made into a movie. I haven't seen it yet. I think I would like to eventually.
I guess Matthew McConaghey was playing Dirk - he looked kind of like a Dirk in the ads...
