Hmm I am not good with Rock questions but when I first read this, the first few bands that came to mind were:
1) Guns N Roses
2) Bon Jovi
3) Beatles
Some classic songs in those groups!
The question is the top FIVE of all time. C'mon man!

You complete tool. Roger Miller rocks into the top spot. Herb Alpert & The Tiajuana Brass come second, and Kinky Friedman & the Texas Jewboys third. You're welcome, poseur! By the way, I lived in Kenosha for six ugly, ugly years. Milwaukee is pretty, though, down by the lake. Miss the kringles.
I think the Beatles need to be on that list.
