Spring is in the air

Finally it's Spring. Not only is the weather supposed to get to the mid 60's today, the Brewers won their Opening Day game yesterday against Pittsburg, 9-2. The Pirates are hardly a powerhouse, but the Crew has had many issues playing there since PNC Park opened a few years ago. Many good things came out of the game yesterday. 1) Ben Sheets pitched well AND got run support. Something he was quite unlucky about last year. 2) Jeff Cirillo, back with the Crew after 6 years, had a RBI double and crushed a HR. Great sign since many aren't sure if he would make the team. 3) Rookie J.J. Hardy made his big league debut and played well recording 2 RBI.

I know it's only the first game of the year but hey, it's the Brewers. They showed signs of improvement last season and it looks like they are going to continue it this season. Go Brew Crew!

It's about time I read something good about the Brewers! Sounds like a healthy start to their season

We should get our first thunderstorm of the season tonight. I love it! The Royal's lost their opener (an away game) yesterday. Looks to be another dreadful season!

Hmm...I haven't seen where the Twins are picked. Whoever it was must be from Minn. :)
